There are still good samaritans out there
Posted Thursday, September 4, at 11:27 PM
It is refreshing to know that in our world of decreasing morals and values that there are still good people out there. My wife and I recently moved to Bell Buckle (yes we moved again) and two days later we were in the hospital having our third child. While we were there someone came over and mowed our over grown and neglected yard. It was trimmed and all. I still do not know who it was but my family and I are very appreciative. I sure feel good about my new neighborhood.
Then today, my wife and I discovered that we had left our money envelopes (Dave Ramsey plan) at Kroger yesterday. They contained a pretty large sum of money(at least for us) and someone found them and returned them to customer service. All the money was in place and again my family is thankful to this person. It is nice to know that there are good people out there. Do you have any recent stories of someone helping you?
Are We Really in a Housing Crisis? I thought this video made alot of since, but of course I sell real estate so I will let you judge for yourself.

Will you be my girlfriend? Check Yes or No WOW! We have come a long way from those days. Remember when asking a girl or guy to go out was so hard that you were too nervous to ask him or her to their face. We just wrote a note. (At least when we were young) When you got older you had to ask her/him to her/his face or at least call and ask on the phone. ...
The Dreaded Class Reunion My 15 year class reunion is coming up soon, and I am very much looking forward to it. Seriously.... I am. Why do some people dread it or avoid it all together? I am excited to see familiar faces that are not so familiar anymore. It will be nice to catch up...
What do you want to be when you grow up? As far back as I can remember I wanted to be four things in my life... A realtor(check), a teacher/coach(check), a pilot (no check), and a husband/father(check,check,check). I always wanted to be in real estate no matter what. I just love all aspects of it. ...
Trimming the Pounds...any advice? I have recently been trying to lose weight and get back in to better shape. I was a 3 sport athlete (I use the term athlete loosely) in high school and still participated in sports and activities in college. I was in pretty good shape. I have put on 70 to 75 lbs since my "playing days" ended...
Walk a Mile in My Shoes... I have been selling real estate for 10 years, and in that time my wife and I have moved several times to different homes. Now with two kids and one coming the idea of moving gets worse as we grow as a family. More stuff to move, more schedules to worry about, not enough help to move and watch the kids, and so on...
My Unwanted Squatters! Pardon if the spelling is wrong on Squatters, but my family moved in to a new house recently. We do not park in the garage(why would we do that?), but we do go in and out of the house through the garage. I am telling you this because we never use our front door. ...
Send a child with Muscular Dystrophy to summer camp... I am writing today on a personal note. My office hosts a benefit auction every year to raise money for kids with Muscular Dystrophy. 100 % of the money raised is used to send these children to summer camp. The cost is about $625 per child and that gives these kids a chance to have a care free week swimming, fishing, boating, horse riding, etc. ...
Real Estate Mishaps... Let's have a little fun. I am curious about the most bizarre or weird thing that may have happened to you while selling or buying a home. Please do not use names but relate the story. I have a couple... Many years ago I went to show a house that was rented. ...
