According to the MLS (multiple listing service) the final 2008 numbers for Bedford Co. residential sales are a little down from 2007. In fact we are lower than 2004. Anyone surprised? Keep in mind these numbers only reflect residential homes and not farms, just land, multifamily, or commercial property. It is refreshing to know that in our world of decreasing morals and values that there are still good people out there. My wife and I recently moved to Bell Buckle (yes we moved again) and two days later we were in the hospital having our third child. While we were there someone came over and mowed our over grown and neglected yard. It was trimmed and all. I still do not know who it was but my family and I are very appreciative. I sure feel good about my new neighborhood...
