Still in Berlin, or another update

I'm still in Berlin. I come home on Monday night, even though I'm looking forward to seeing my dogs and sleeping in my own bed, I'm not looking forwarding to leaving this city.
We've checked out a bunch of museums - one is about the former East Berlin and is completely interactive, there's even an old Trabi car that you can sit in and pretend to drive! We also went to the Staasi Museum, where the best part was the exhibit on all the hidden cameras - like in a necktie, insane! We also went to a medical history museum, it was a lot like the Mutter Museum in Philly. I also went, while Jeremy was in his German classes, shopping. I checked out the KaDeWe, the second largest store in all of Europe. I liked the gourmet food floor, mostly because it's fun looking at fancy food and not having any idea of what is actually is (I don't speak or read German). Anyway, my time at the internet cafe is pretty much up. So, I'll end here. Oh, but before I forget, rebelrose - your friend was right, there was no a/c in Paris (thankfully, Jeremy bought me a small fan) and there was no dryer where we were staying - we had to hang our clothes inside on hangers. I bet people who live in Paris have much smaller electric bills huh? LOL... Glad you are having fun! But, you're just like me, once you get somewhere amazing like that, you find it nearly impossible to leave..
