I found this picture whilst browsing flickr, here. It's really cool. I love the blue tin cans on the wall. I think since our place is brick, I might look into doing this next summer. I'll have to look into seeing if it will damage the brick though, first.
Without damaging the brick of my house, I can also do something like the tipsy pots. It's kind of cute and I think would look really fun.
I didn't do much in the way of a garden this year - I planted some carrots, dill, lavendar, and basil. When the guy came to mow the lawn, he weed whacked my garden. (Needless to say, I'm on the lookout for a new lawnmowing guy) The carrot stems have started coming back up, but the others have not. I checked on the carrots this weekend and they are teeny tiny - I've heard that root vegetables do not grow well here, probably because of the clay soil. Next year, I'm planning ahead, and planning on doing a bit of a garden. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I like the tipsy pots but those pots are probably going to need water twice a day in our environment.
I kind of figured that they would need a lot of watering, but I think they would look cute.
