Patchwork bag

I know I said I was going to make a hat with the African fabrics, but I made a patchwork bag first. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I got the pattern from the Posie gets cozy blog, which I love.
Anyway, hat this weekend. I made one last weekend, but the brim is way too wide and it looks funny. So, I'm attempting it again this weekend. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

You sure keep yourself busy. Rest for a few hours and come see us again at Weed'em and Reap. Folks keep asking about you and hubby.
oooo....pretty. These are supposed to be all the rave. You could make a fortune!
My daughter loves that kind of look. It is neat.
Thanks for all the super nice comments everyone! You've made my day.
I LOVE the bag!! If you were to do a booth at Pet Day, I bet they would fly out the door, if you used animal fabrics.
Thanks! I'm still workingon things for Pet Day...I also still have to send you my payment for a space.
Hey! I LOVE THAT BAG! WOW! Good job! =)
I have been MIA for a while. I had to have surgery in regards to the health of the baby. We are both doing fine now, and are at home healing and bedresting. It is going to be a LONG 26 weeks before he gets here.
Did you get that email I sent you with the lady's number for the craft fair? If not, let me know and I'll resend it. I'm about to send my booth fee to her. =)
Mary -
Thank you. Not to pat my own back, but I impressed myself with this one - I didn't think it would look okay, never mind actually stay together during use.
Yes, I have her number. I've been debating on calling because my husband won't here to help me set up (he's going to a conference in St Louis that weekend). I was planning on emailing you back but, of course, got caught up in work things.
I'm sorry to hear about your surgery. I can't imagine how scary it must be when it comes to the health of your baby.
