Bedford County Sheriff's Department?

Tonight while reading the TG online, my husband and I decided to check out the Bedford County Sheriff's Department website. Maybe my friend google gave me the wrong web address, but I did not realize Japanese was the official language of this county. Perhaps that is why so many people have complaints about the sheriff's department?

Since you are on the subject of the Sheriff's Dept. I would like to know why it is that the trustees can stand outside in the little garage area and smoke when it is a non tobacco products facility and how are they getting them and why do they stay out there until after 9pm when they are not doing anything????????????????

They forgot to pay for the domain name so it was stolen by another company. This is what happens when you don't have a trustworthy domain registrar or person that knows what they are doing. Really it is a pity, but when I approached them I said I can handle everything for them. So this is what happened. Same with leadership bedford... and a few other places.

EM -

Really? They just let it expire? That's kind of crazy and embarassing for them.

Anyone know what the site is about and why they would want the bedfordcountyso.com domain name?

That's odd!!!

And about smoking in a garage:

What areas are exempt from the smoking ban?

Open air patios, porches or decks

Any that are enclosed by garage type doors when all such doors are open

Any that are enclosed by tents or awnings with removable sides or vents when all such sides or vents are removed or open

http://www.tennesseeanytime.org/govoffic...

Besides who cares if they are smoking in a garage?

Yes it is very embarrassing, but that is what happens when you get with these fly-by-nights or non-profits that don't have your best interests in mind.

When my clients are successful, then I am successful.

The people who purchased the domain are domain squatters. They buy the domain with the hopes that the Bedford County Sheriff's Office, having invested money in advertising the domain to the public, will view paying the squatter a high price as cheaper than the hassle and costs associated with starting and advertising a new domain.

to dianatn they are incarcerated just like the rest of them and if it is a non smoking or non tobacco products facility then they should not be allowed to smoke just like the ones on the inside and that means the someone is supplying them with contraband and they should be charged with that offense.
