I got this information via email from John Carney about this group -
STITCHES FROM THE HEART needs volunteers to knit, crochet or quilt blankets, little sweaters and hats for babies in need. These items are donated to hospitals all over the country. Patterns available. Donated yarn appreciated for our seniors. Toll free (877) 985-9212 or e-mail us at StitchFromHeart@aol.com. Our web site: www.StitchesFromTheHeart.org I think they sound like a good organization. I'm going to research them a bit more and also check out other organizations closer to home. Also, we'll be having a second group meeting later in December so I'll post more about that closer to the date. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
