Back to workPosted Monday, January 5, 2009, at 1:54 PM
I'm back to work today after having a bit of time off for the holidays. My mom was visiting and we didn't make it to the Unclaimed Baggage store, but we did make it to Chattanooga to check out the aquarium.
We did the behind the scenes tour where we learned all about how the aquarium is run and how the fish are fed. Here's a little video I took of a sea turtle being fed -
If you head out to the Chattanooga Aquarium, I highly recommend the behind the scenes tour. I heard that on some of the tours you can actually feed the fish - even though we didn't, it was still fun. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

The last time I went to UB, it wasn't that great, but the time before was FABULOUS! So I guess you take your chances.
I am back at work today too. Pretty good day, all the kids were excited to talk about their break. 89 days to go!
Do you know how to go about auditing a class at MTSU? I need to do one either this summer or this fall to see if I am getting my kids on track to go to college.
I'm not entirely sure how to go about auditing a class, but my husband is the undergraduate advisor for the history department - I'm sure he knows. I'll ask him and let you know what he says. I think the process is fairly simple - or at least, it should be fairly simple.
I didn't know they offered that tour. Next time I go, I will check it out. I enjoy taking my children, provided it is not at all busy. I hope you enjoyed your mom's visit.
memyselfi, I think that kids would really enjoy the behind the scenes tour (I think there's an age limit, though - 10 years or older I think). I know when I was little I would've loved going backstage at the aquarium.
