Uptown City Fair

I just registered to vend at the Uptown City Fair. I didn't go last summer, as I wasn't here, so I'm not really sure what to expect. I'm really hoping it isn't really going to be in the mid-90s like I saw on the news last night - that wouldn't be cool...
I'm at work right now, and I'm plotting in my head some things to make before Saturday morning. I've got a few ideas and will be very busy until Saturday morning. Here are a few things that I may or may not have: Silk screened potholders - I love that dancing radish, it's from an old embroidery pattern. Bird pins - sadly even though they're made of felt, I've left more than one on a sweater when I've washed it. I can say that even though they shrink a bit, they're machine washable as they haven't yet fallen apart (and I know at least one of my pins has been through the wash a bunch of times). Hair fasteners. And lastly, my latest obsession - purses! Actually, I lied a bit - my latest crafting obsession is English paper piecing. I alternately hate it and love it becuase it's small and portable which I love, but it's also completely sewn by hand - I work on it every night whilst watching tv. I also bring the fabric scraps, paper pieces, needle and thread with me everywhere in hopes on getting some more hexagons done so I can make the quilt grow. It's about 2' by 1.5' right now. I suspect it will take forever. Anyway, I hope to see some of you there. If you do go and you see me, please introduce yourself. Hey! I was wondering about you the other day! I don't get on here much anymore with three little boys in the house.
When and where is the Uptown Fair? I would love to come and shop your booth if I am able too.
Neat looking things for your booth, Chantel. I hope lots of people come to the square this Saturday. The more the merrier!
Oops, I spelled your name incorrectly.
Mary - The fair is on the square right here in Shelbyville. I was wondering how you were doing, too! It must be so much work with 3 boys, I can't imagine. I hope you can make it and we get to see you this weekend.
jbillswms - Thank you. I hope lots of people come, too. I also am hoping for a cold spell for Saturday, but I'm guessing that has no chance of happening.
