Preds and the playoffs

I'll be the first to admit it….I'm not a big hockey fan. I'm a bandwagon Predators fan at best, but I always follow how they do all season and catch some games on the tube from time to time. And, of course, I always want them to do well. It's our team and it is really great to have two winning professional franchises here in the midstate.
With so much going on in other sports and growing up completely devoid of the game of hockey, I didn't have a clue what I was missing. I don't know all the ins and outs of the game, including several key rules and penalties, but I'll have to say I'm especially hooked on playoff hockey. I've been following the NHL's postseason for several years, even before the Preds existed and it seems like a whole new game. Every goal, and mistake for that matter, is magnified and the fans, players, coaches and commentators develop a huge surge in intensity and energy. It really is fun to watch. And that's on TV. I can't imagine how it would be up close and personal! From what I hear, the Sommet Center has been an absolute zoo/madhouse (insert any other good descriptive noun) for the two playoff games this week. That certainly is evident from my point of view with the "rally" towels and the constant noise level throughout. I'd like to hear from any of you that may have been in attendance at either or both of the games. It had to be special and I'm sure the excitement for Sunday's Game 6 here will even surpass that. Here's to hoping the Predators can keep their momentum going and knock off the mighty Red Wings to advance to Round 2. Preds and the playoffs

Since watching the movie "Miracle" and watching the Preds over the last few years, I have learned a lot more about the game. I would have loved to be in the crowd for the last two games. It was electric just watching on TV and I can only imagine what being there was like. I hope they can go back on the road and keep the fire from the last two games.
GO PREDS!!!!!!
Chad,
I'll admit I know very little about hockey. One question I'd like a true hockey fan to answer pertains to shots on goal. I've noticed the Predators seldom take anywhere close to as many shots on goal as the opposition.
Is this a problem of just the style of play of the Preds?
