On a much lighter note, Unionville has birthed a new community theater group. Their first production, Thornton Wilder's classic "Our Town" will be offered next week.

Performance schedule is Fri. and Sat., Sept. 19th and 20th at 7PM and a matinee Sun. Sept. 21st at 2PM. Performances are free.

I urge you to support these efforts and attend one of the productions. You will see an excellent show performed by many capable people who have worked very hard for 6 plus weeks rehearsing several nights per week. All as volunteers just for the joy of participating.

As a caveat and declaration, I have a part but only a small one.

I so wish I could have been there to see this - it's one of my most favorite ever movies and I just love the imagination and creativity that goes into plays.
