The United States District Court on Friday last, sentenced Chad Tucker to 42 months probation, $3000.00 fine and $100.00 assessment. I now rest my case. No incarceration in Federal Court for being major player in illegal scheme and 45 day in lock-up for the most minor players. I hope to hear from the commenters on my original blog concerning the local trial.

Near lifelong resident of Bedford County. Will comment on the issues of the day in, hopefully a cogent and certainly an honest manner. Will propose discussions not usually fully addressed in the mainstream media.

Business as usual in Bedford County.
its allin who you know ,thats what ive been told about bedford county, but its most likley that way in all small towns. im sure some are worse than others.
Okay, both of the Tuckers got probation. What does that mean other than they have to report to a probation officer every so often. Are there restrictive terms to their probation or do they just get to go their merry way? Sounds like they got rich illegally without any adverse affect on their lives at all, Something is rotten in Denmark (excuse me, Shelbyville)
We'll have the full story online about this matter with more details ASAP. We've had some computer problems this morning, which has brought production to a standstill.
Now it's time to release the hounds, and send in the IRS to audit them and find out just how well they were able to hide the money they made from their poker room. I'm sure there are some unpaid taxes on their profits.
Well, Carl, you can't actually believe that the card dealers were the "most minor" players can you. The "most minor" of players would, of course, be the actual players themselves who were pretty much given a hand slap best I remember. Additionally, you can't blame the District Attorneys office for doing their jobs either. What happens in Federal Court is completely autonomous to what happens here in Shelbyville. Our District Attorney General is an elected official and it is his responsibility to adjudicate criminal offenses as specified in Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA). He, and his Assistants, are accountable to us for their decision to prosecute, or not prosecute persons for whom we citizens deem to be deviant of our rules and laws. I completely understand your point, I know that sometimes the scales of justice seem to rest on an uneven platform, however, your attempt to demonize the one man who did his job as effectively as he could, along with narcissistic way you went about it is what made you the target of criticism. I firmly believe that the more serious a person takes himself, the less serious others take him. You should take note of that because you have a great deal to say and you are willing to put yourself out there which is more than what most people are willing to do. You just need to realize that there are some other intelligent people out there too. People who have the ability to smell the doodoo on you shoes and ask you to scrape it off before coming in our homes.
So I would ask, if I dare, why has the Judge order a new sentencing hearing? Could it be that not everything was disclosed to the court when it determined the "appropriate" guidelines? At least that is what we are being told out on the farm.....
