Note: The nature of the Internet makes it impractical for our staff to review every comment. Please note that those who post comments on this website may do so using a screen name, which may or may not reflect a website user's actual name. Readers should be careful not to assign comments to real people who may have names similar to screen names. Refrain from obscenity in your comments, and to keep discussions civil, don't say anything in a way your grandmother would be ashamed to read.
  • I don't know the other candidates but I have had interactions with Mr. Ray and have no reason to not support him. He knows the rigors of the job and if he feels up to it, more power to him.

Those who have read my thoughts know how I stand on negative campaigning. Bending the truth or outright lying seals my vote to the one who campaigns on what their promise of leadership and avoids the mud.

  • Steve, thanks for your comment. As you know, we cannot know the number of "hits" on our blogs. I suspect the TG can, but don't know factually. I'm a little surprised no more comments. Since you and I are the only non-avatars I guess most fear stating their political position publically.

  • I have absolutely nothing against Mr. Ray. He is a fine gentleman. I am just ready for a change (not only in this local race, but some others, also).

  • I would like to hear about the other choices and races.

Carl, I have been assured that many more read than write.
