Interestingly, during the 8 year reign of the previous President there were 340 killed and 842 injured by mass shootings. I don't recall that President being blamed for any of them by the mainstream Press. The standard call for stricter gun control laws was their only mantra. Most politicians and most news people of that era are still haunting their milieu today yet their mantra re gun control is still extolled with the addition of the President is at fault for all the events. Isn't it amazing that one President is treated vastly different than his immediate successor by the objective (sic) mainstream press.
All the critics cry gun control is the answer, ignoring that many of the most horrific events occur in locations with the most onerous gun control laws. Although Chicago and Baltimore are the murder capitals of the US, albeit not mass murder, yet Chicago and Illinois have the most restrictive gun laws in the Country. I guess they learned from Honduras with the highest murder rate in the world and laws of no private ownership of guns. The simple fact is guns are not the problem, people are the problem. Blaming guns for the killings is like a fat person blaming forks for their obesity.
