  • I am not sure if you are critical of his original remarks, or the attempt to "walk it back." I was under the impression you approved of this sort of political discourse.

That kind of statement occurs when things get heated but what I object to is the unequal coverage such an utterance gets from the National media. Maybe it is because the Republicans are not wringing their hands and screaming about how this is tearing our country apart and fostering violence?

Or are they crying and it is the press that is not highlighting those comments? You can be sure if it was reversed and aimed at a Liberal judge, the outcry would be horrendous.

  • Steve, the conformational bias of the mainstream media prohibits anything negative being said about Democrats, thus if anything is cited by them they must "explain the meaning" as we poor Conservatives cannot possibly understand such verbiage, ergo, the explanation must fit the narrative.

Realizing that y'all must have been denied access to media reports, I thought a few headlines might provide some comfort. Only a few, because there are literally thousands. Not unexpectedly, the most apoplectic response came from the right oriented media, but it would seem that there was no media source that comes remotely near general news that did not report on it, and in not one place did I see his words defended. Liberal College Newspapers called it "despicable." Vanity Fair, for cripes sake (I thought they were an entertainment magazine), called it "inappropriate and dangerous". I am not sure what you think constitutes an outcry.

When I was checking news at that time, the headlines did not carry this on more than two websites. Most were side notes, and seemed to be obligatory comments. If it had been Republican my perception of the news lately says it would be headlines on most and last for days, if not a week.

I wrote several more paragraphs about the news media, but have decided to take a chill pill and move on.

  • Steve, isn't it interesting the blog monitor knows what everyone knows and what they think. Here he employs the arsenal of the intellectually infirm, i.e., use of anecdotal data to claim proof of the truth in all cases.

    Okay, here it is.

Travel Ban on Mar 10 to Mar 20. Airlines shut down for Coronavirus.

CoronaVirus worse in European Countries than in the USA.

There will be Quarantines in London, New York and DC.

Trump just sent 30,000 Troops and National Guards to Italy in the middle of the Corona Virus Quarantines for Military Games. Yeah Right!

Answer #1. Coronavirus is nothing to worry about here or in the European Countries.

Answer #2. United States is going to arrest the Queen and her family and the Pope who the Common Law Courts Sheriffs couldn't arrest because of the Pope's Secret Service body guards.

"Q" said the people will be shocked when they find out who the first two people to get arrested will be.

    Makes total sense now.

Trump said CoronaVirus was a fake virus so the people would take the Fake Virus serious and eagerly quarantine themselves. What better time to make the Mass arrests while everyone is in their own home feeling safe.

Now we just have to watch New York and DC. Trump said yesterday that New York was working closely with Trump over this Corona virus.

New Jersey is placing curfews on Restaurants, Bars, and other Businesses beginning after 8PM Monday night until further notice as if the virus is only active at night. Sounds fishy to me. Sounds perfect for a Mass Arrest while people are off the streets.

I believe the Mass Arrests are finally starting right now. Why else would Trump send 30,000 armed men and weapons including Abram Tanks to countries that have serious Corona Virus Cases and Quarantines?

The first two to be arrested - the Queen of England and the Pope in the Vatican in Italy! You heard it here FIRST!

Is President DoJ Trump Intelligent or What?
