I have heard the name Eric Garner many times of late, especially by Mr. Crump, attorney for the Floyd family in Minn. Mr. Garner was killed by policemen in NYC, one of which used a choke hold him. This occurred, I believe, in 2014. No policemen were charged in this incident.
I encourage each of you to google the video of the arrest. It is only 2-3 minutes long. None of these policemen were ranking officers. Watch until the end and you will see a Sargent, bent over and watching the "action." This ranking officer could have stop the police at anytime but did not. Could it be that no charges were ever filed because the ranking officer was a black lady? Couldn't possibility be a double standard in play here.
