Carl, do you believe Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?

  • Carl, not looking to get any particular response, but it is not the least surprising that your thought processes have changed little in the past 13 years.

  • As anyone can see Troll #1 cannot restrain himself from being negative in furtherance of his mission to demonstrate his brilliance and the ignorance of all others. Interestingly his brilliance slipped in this case. He demonstrated his lack of intelligence in failing to recognize the purpose of the piece was to demonstrate the failure of society re race relation over the the last 13 years. He shows for all to see his only aim is to shoot the messenger and demonstrates his lack of intelligence sufficient to address the instant issue.

  • Sorry I am late to the party. It is truly a shame that Martin Luther King was killed. If he had been able to spend more time on this earth, he may have been able to spawn more reasonable leadership than those mentioned in your post.

Recently I learned how naive I was growing up. Apparently there was more racial divide, antisemitism, etc. than I thought. Actually, I thought there was none until I came to MTSU in the late 60's. My eyes were opened.

That said however, I thought things were getting much better and feel that the current situation is really much better than portrayed by the press. The same goes for the "political divide" promoted by that same press.

  • Thanks for your thoughtful comments Steve. As you may know, I am a huge fan and supporter of MLK. Today's so called leaders are selfserving race baiters and don't belong in the same sentence with MLK.
