Bonnaroo bluesPosted Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 11:38 AM
Talking to Brad Shultz of Cage the Elephant at last year's 'Roo.
I will miss the music and the fun and the crazy carnival atmosphere I enjoyed so much last year. Those of you who are going, be safe and have a great time and email me your pics and blogs so I can live it vicariously! We'd love to have a photo page with your Bonnaroo memories. in next week's Life & Leisure. (G-rated, please. I've been there and you know what I'm talking about!) ya know when i was younger i enjoyed these things.. but now i am glad i wake up next to someone I know, all my clothing and money in my pocket.. guess i have entered old fartdom..
LOL!
Day 1 (for us) was great. Although I would certainly say that Bonnaroo isn't really as much fun for someone like me that HATES having other people touch me. Still fun though. Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers were great, so was the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I'll send some pics in after the shows on Sunday. VERY interesting people, but I didn't get the opportunity for any non G-rated pictures...yet. I have to get certain smells out of my clothes (and nose) now. If you've been there, then you know what I'm talking about.
LOL! I do! Please send me bunches of pics and we'll run them on the photo page!
