Child Shutsdown Wal-martPosted Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at 1:20 PM
:) Having young children we love to get out and just ride around the town and look. On Christmas eve was the case. As we rode through town I began to see the power of God everywhere--- At Wal-mart at Burger King at Subway and Kroger. The power of God all over town! I stared in amazement as I considered how that the birth of a child over 2000 years ago could still effect us in such a dramatic way. The birth of Jesus shut down Shelbyville and many other cities around the world for a few days. That's power!

it pleased me to see so many stores closed also. it is about time that we observe the sabbath holidays like they should be. it also would be nice that all stores closed on sunday.
I can remeber, that not only on holidays , but even on Sunday's things would be closed, oh the good old days.
Nice post Kelly.
Amen! Great post Kelly.
You can rest assured that if Walmart could make a dollar, they would have been open. Considering the political agenda of Walmart, they certainly don't consider the teachings of Jesus in anything they do.
