Ralph the Squirrel Updates
Posted Tuesday, October 20, at 7:50 PM
Ralph is growing at a astounding rate. Ralph, i have found out is really a Ralphette. Yep, I got the sex wrong on the squirrel..hey I've never done this before!

Ralph, is used to Ralph and that she'll stay.

She has a routine first thing in the morning.

First thing is get out of her new and improved cage, then it is have coffee with me, run from one end of the counter to the other. Knock over my candles, eat/steal the said candle wax.

Then we go outside, and she climbs the oak tree and has a great time while I read.

My neighbor, asked this morning who I was talking to. So I had to explain, it was not the dryad in the oak, but Ralph the Squirrel. She already thinks i am warped by having four cats.

Ralph loves to steal my pencils and shread them, loves to taunt the cats, and has learned to use her litter pan in the cage.

She goes with me everywhere I go and loves to do the laundry. She hangs on it while I fold.

Ralph loves sweet tea and you have to watch your glass, when she is on the hunt for tea.

She is such a fun companion and when she is ready to come in, she comes running down the tree and hops back on me.

Ralph the Squirrel
Posted Friday, October 2, at 5:04 PM

About four weeks ago, our dog Buddy ran up to something on the ground under a tree. It was a baby squirrel that had fallen out of the nest. It was so tiny in my husband's hand. I went to the store and bought puppy formula and a bottle. We named him Ralph...

What If:
Posted Wednesday, September 23, at 10:30 AM

What if-- what if we treated each other like Christ treats us? What if we stop trying to be the Sin Police, stopped judging and pointing the finger at each other. What if we let the Holy Spirit work in them? What if- we truly loved as Jesus said to do, and that is how we are known to be Christians?...

Ordinary Superheros
Posted Tuesday, September 8, at 11:32 AM

America is fascinated with superheros. We have The Dark Knight, Superman, Spider man, Hulk and my personal favorite Wolverine. All these superheros have something in common, they all have their weaknesses and strengths. Some have fears, some can be felled by Kryptonite, and others have self-esteem issues...

I am a professional Home enviromental cleaning specialist. Fancy way of saying I scrub toilets for a living. Ha.. I have cleaned houses since I was 13 years old, seeing how I hated babysitting. Everyone needs a obsessive compulsive person cleaning their home. It will be done right! I am Monk in a maids uniform...

Funerals and rituals
Posted Wednesday, August 26, at 5:03 PM

My family has had several deaths in the past months and it has lead me to observation of people and the grief process. I see several interesting traits among families and the south. I have lived in several different cultures and every culture has a different way of expressing grief and letting a loved one go...

Feeling the Weather, Do you?
Posted Monday, August 17, at 7:08 PM

Ok, I thought it was amusing when I was small and my grandparents would fuss about a storm front brewing they could feel in their bones. Well, I am no longer laughing. I was chatting with a friend about how I would know when the barametric pressure was rising or falling based on how my head hurt...

Facebook or Twitter?
Posted Thursday, August 13, at 7:47 PM

I have been getting on Facebook lately to find friends and people I used to know. It is a really neat tool, but also if you do not have your settings set to privacy, anyone can access your information. I have learned some interesting things being on Facebook...

Pussy cat gets blamed for owners fetish
Posted Saturday, August 8, at 3:41 PM

Now I have seen it all, a Florida man blamed his cat for over 1000 images downloaded on his computer. Keith Griffin is charged with 10 counts of child pornography after detectives found over 1000 images on his home computer. Now when I was a kid we blamed the dog and cat for certain things, lamp breakage, passing gas and such but never pornograhic images...
