Dog sitting adventuresPosted Saturday, February 7, 2009, at 8:31 PM
Well, I have a new job in addition to fixing computers, a friend of mine was in a fix. She just moved from California and got a job sitting with the house bound elderly. It is a good job, except they needed her for 12 hour shifts.
Her little dog would be couped up in the house for all that time without pottie breaks and fun.
So TA DAH, I donned my cape (no spandex) and came to the rescue of a very bored Chihuahua. He is quite the personality and is used to being around people, loves the car and riding. So, we took off. I took him for walks (he's that small and pees that much??), and more walks, and rides in the car. He likes Bon Jovi, can't fault a guy for that.
So we get to my house, and we go over etiquette 101.
No marking the territory in the house, i don't care if you think you must.
No pestering the cats, they have weapons.
No trying to imtimidate my dog, he is bigger than you.
Chihuahua's have got some big attitudes in those small bodies let me tell you.
He is a sweetie, if you see him looking out the window of my car just wave, he will grin and say Hola!
