my best friendPosted Friday, March 20, 2009, at 8:23 AM
Spoilt brat cat..
This kitten was half siamese and half manx. He looked just like a little teddie bear. I named him Theodore, which mean's Gods gift. We call him Teddie. Instantly this ball of fluff stole our hearts and won over the other kitties. He learned to walk on a leash with a harness, he retrives his toys and often i will wake up with several toys piled on top of me. He is a talker, you walk in the room and say hey what's going on? and he will try his best to answer you. I had to leave on a trip for my grandmothers funeral and a friend came over to take him for his walkie..He said it was funny a 300 lb man walking a small cat. Teddie has two bushes outside he "marks his territory" even though he is neutered. Teddie loves to play with our rabbits, and he and Joe the Maine Coon are constantly vying for our attention. It gets interesting around here. One of his favorite things to do with me is "change the sheets." I change them every saturday morning, so i yell Change the sheets Teddie, and he comes running. He will "help" take them off and then "help" smooth out the sheets and blankets after i put the fresh ones on. This 14 lb. black ball of fur is my best friend. If you see me outside walking the cat, just say hello Teddie. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Fantastic. We need more of these stories. Thanks.
Our cats don't help with sheet changing, they either lay on top and refuse to move or get under and insist on playing. Too bad Teddie is neutered. It would be interesting if he could train his offspring to work in hotels.
Walking on a leash is something I don't believe I have ever seen. Our cats would draw the line on that I'm afraid.
yep He rides on my shoulder too. He is a awesome cat.
We just lost our best friend this morning. Our border collie Sadie, would have been 4 on July 4th, and she was the smartest dog I had ever seen. I never thought I could get so attached to a dog, but its been like losing a member of the family.
