our little girl in the familyPosted Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 5:13 PM
The little beauty queen
When Nikki first came to us, she was so timid she would wet herself when you tried to touch her. She is still timid but not terribly so. Kind words and love has won her confidance. She has her routine in the household down pat, breakfast then lie in the sun, then go outside to the sancturary, come inside, lie in the sun again. Might get some crunchies, then go sleep on the feather comforter. When we get off work it is: see us, say hello, get crunchies and then around 8:00 start telling us it is time for bed. When we get to bed, she loves laying beside me and turning over and smiling at me. If my husband starts talking too much she will complain and get down. Her meow is very soft and she very often does "silent meows." She is such a beauty queen and prisses about the house in her beautiful black, long haired coat. My husband and I think she looks like Pepe LaPew's girlfriend, we are thinking of a way to put a non toxic white stripe down her back. Thought you'd like to know something about another one of my brat cats.. Oh she has a Swarvorski crystal collar coming from Breat Brittian i won on ebay... i'll post the princess' photo when i get it in the post. i don't know she was and still is very small. she was 6 months old when we adopted her and she looked 3 months old. very tiny.
she was prety happy last night, it was quiet last night. She got to have her petting time.
She's a lovely girl.
When we talk too much or too loudly, our cats put a paw over our mouths.
(I think this is a non-too-subtle way to say "Stifle yourself!")
Nikki is too much of a lady to use so rude a reproach.
I hope her jar at least had air holes!
She is pretty indeed. In a jar? I hope at least a gallon jar.
I love the personalities of our pets. We took our newest dog to the vet today for her shots. She always is ready to go somewhere, but this time she seemed to sense it had more purpose than a quick trip and was more hesitant than on other trips.
