Shelbyville's Garden of LifePosted Sunday, May 17, 2009, at 4:48 PM
Garden of Life
My husband and I went out to the Garden of Life which is Shelbyville's Community Garden, and took a walk on the walking trail. The dog was estatic. It was just perfect. The plant are healthy and the kids area was decorated so cute with little walking stones that had been painted and had quotes on them. If you ever have a chance please go to the Garden of Life. It is for every person in Shelbyville. Come and Plant or just come and walk around the trail. The garden is located on highway 231 south right next to The national guard armory, behind New Harvest church. You do not have to be a church member or goer to enjoy this garden just be a part. If you have garden tools you'd like to donate, they would be a blessing! Just contact the secretary Mon-fri 9:00 to 4:00 at 685-0241, everything is appreciated. Lesa, isn't there a website to keep on the progress here? I know being there is better, but I always seem to be headed a different direction.

Here is the website! Everyone check it out and feel free to participate. We can soften the blow of the struggling economy if we just work together!
