Kitty went AWOLPosted Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 6:26 AM
The princess of the Cox family.
While they were over we cooked out and had a good time. Our Maine Coon cat, Joe loves people and was having the grandest time going from person to person getting love and affection. He even let the two year old love on him.... my other cat however did no appreciate the family love, and chose to stay out side in the sanctuary we built them. Around 9:00 that night, LONG after everyone had left and cleaned up, I was looking for Nikki, the princess of our home. Nikki was traumatized when she was a kitten and is very timid and shy. She is so sweet and gentle and loves to be Loved on but it takes time for her to warm up to anyone. WEll i looked for her for several minutes and was beginning to think she had escaped during one of the time the door was open. I finally found her, huddled outside with the two rabbits in the sanctuary. I assured her everything was quiet now and she came in a couple of minutes after that. Before long she was piled in the bed with me reading, laying on top of me purring. Kitty went AWOL and it made her tired. |
