What If:

Posted Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at 10:30 AM

What if-- what if we treated each other like Christ treats us? What if we stop trying to be the Sin Police, stopped judging and pointing the finger at each other.

What if we let the Holy Spirit work in them?

What if- we truly loved as Jesus said to do, and that is how we are known to be Christians?

What if we acted like Jesus wanted: the first is last, the least is lifted up.

What if- the church leaders served instead of ruled? What if our salvation is not based on church attendance but the Blood of Christ?

What if we stopped trying to fix the hurts and band aid them with more programs and gave them over to Christ.

What if the Body of Christ actually reached out to the hurting?

What if we truly loved? No agendas, No strings, no praise or accolades?

What if we became the church we dreamed about?

What if Churches were led by truly Regenerate Saved Chrisitans, instead of The Best of the Who's Who.

What if, the people in Washington who took prayer out of schools and try to stifle the Christian religion while embracing Islam quit quoting the Bible to try and force Health care reform down our throats?

Amen docudrama

Isn't it funny the government is always pushing separation between church and state, but then they start quoting the bible when they are trying to get the christian population to go along with their health care plan. Jesus does tell us (as in the people)that we should take care of the sick, no where in scripture does it say the government should take care of the sick and then tax us to death to pay for it.

This is off topic but I just saw this.

This is scary if you have children in our public school system.

This song these children are sing is down right out worshipping Obama.

Obama's new theme song

You owe You owe (as in taxes) so off to work you go.

bellbuckletn: I saw that the koreans and the German's did some of the same things..

German version:

Mein Fuhrer

He said we must be clear today

Equal work means equal pay

Boom boom boom...

Korean Version:

Our dear leader

He said that we must take a stand

To make sure everyone gets a chance

Bang bang bang...

What if--

Some people commenting on these blogs were kinder to one another...

We truly got on with our lives instead of being sucked back into our PCs (myself included)...

Obama converted to Christianity...

Some guy named "FICA" quit taking more than a third of our paychecks so we could actually afford to live...

What if I never wake up from this nightmare...

shawna.jones Obama converted to Christianity...

There are a lot of people who are Christians in their own minds but not in their hearts. The churches are full of them, some people call them hypocrites. Like an old preacher told me once, you shouldn't have to tell anyone that you are a Christian, they should be able to see that you are by your actions and words, by the life that you live.

Obama's actions and words tell me he's not a Christian in his heart.

What if all those out their calling themselves the conservative christian right would actually live the life they claim they do? Would actually care about their fellow man , and not just the ones that have a pay check big enough , impressive enough to make them worthy to be seen with. Sure it's cool to help the poor, makes you look important. Oh but wow you can't be seen with the people who are lowly middle class, who only make enough to get by on, who after a long hard work week, putting in the same or more hours on the the job as you still can not afford a house in the "right" neighborhood, can't buy designer clothes, and well who wants their kids to associate with kids who don't have the best of toys , in the fancy house and can't even invite yours to big fancy birthday parties?

Yea wouldn't it be nice if those Christian right could realize that a persons worth is determined by who they are not the size of their pay check, that even children of the hard working middle class who do not have free health care from their employers deserve health care.

Wouldn't it be nice if they actually realized that in Gods eyes we are all created equally even if we were not born into a rich family......

Yes it would be great...not likely to happen, but would be wonderful if it did.

We do live in the "right" neigborhood, have kids who wear designer clothes, etc., but we don't put on airs--what you see is what you get. Admittedly, my husband is one of those that has to have the Under Armour brand, but he shops Goodwill as much as the next guy. My children were raised to respect and hold in high regard those who may be less fortunate or who have less...and to know that ANY of us is only one lost job, one bad investment, one divorce, or one "bad move" away from being in the same position.

What If...Our government returned to the idea of actually serving the people and people actually strived daily to be of maximum benefit to God and their fellow man?

Apparently you must not be a Christian or know any. Because the ones that I know, and have surrounded myself with for my entire life do not judge a man by the size of his pay check. The rant that you made is just a copy of the Hollywood left, that espouse the same rhetoric. How dare you say that the only reason people of faith only work with the poor or do missionary work in hostile counties for the photo op. You need enlightenment, because you do not have a very firm grip on reality.
