God's timing is perfectPosted Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 6:40 PM
Later, much later.. the ministry de-banded and she had to find a place to live and all the stuff that goes with it. So, we had a prayer list, and due to the fact that she is of very limited means and physical disabilities she is totally relying on God for each thing she needs. We had been able to find furniture and a nice tv cabinet for her, but the two things she really needed was a washer and dryer. My husband and I went to Antioch today and on the way home stopped by the Goodwill in Murfreesboro. I was interested in seeing if they had a book I was looking for. I did not find the book, The Lovely Bones.. but my husband found some books on cassette. While I was checking out, I overheard the cashier answering the phone. "No we do not take appilances like washers and dryers." I asked if the woman was wanting to give them away and then explained Ms. B's situation. She gave me her address and we went back to Shelbyville, got the truck and then piled up and got the washer and dryer in Rockvale. They looked like almost new appliances! She also had a nice dresser and comfey chair. We called Ms. B and she was so excited. She had said she was praying that morning about some of her needs and God told her, she needed to trust Him and not worry about the timing or how He was going to answer her prayers. I had called five minutes after that prayer. We installed the washer and dryer, and it was more than she ever expected. The washer and dryer were newer models and in great condition. These were also blessed! They had been given to the other young lady several years ago by a minister when she was having hard times. God's timing is always right on and perfect. It is also very awesome and humbling to be part of what God is doing, you just have to listen. Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |

Funny, I've been looking for Lovely Bones at used bookstores, too! I think everyone has the same idea we do!
Thanks for sharing this Lesa.
