Mary, Mary quite contrary..(Or the cat in the trash)Posted Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 5:13 PM
Mary Mary Quite Contrary
Mary stops to pet Lola, who was purring for her and jumps on the garden wall and for some unknown reason, Mary looks around and opens the garbage bin and throws the cat in the bin. Then she calmly walks away.
Owners Stephanie Mann and her husband Darryl could not find their Grey striped cat named Lola, and set up a search for her. They found her in a trash bin near their flat. The cat was distressed and sitting in her own waste.
The couple were appalled when they looked on the CCTV recording and saw the Grey haired elderly lady roughly snatch up the unsuspecting Lola and dumping her in the bin to stay lonely and scared for 15 hours.
Lola, is none worse for wear but not the same for Mary Bale, who was identified after the Mann's put the CCTV coverage on YouTube and found out who the culprit was.
The Mann's were distressed to see this and have expressed that they wish Mary no harm.
Mary Bale is under police protection and is under investigation from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals.
The public has cried such a outrage that Mary is being hounded at work and home with threats.
It will be up to the courts to decide whether Mary does jail time or community service for her dastardly deed, I personally think she needs a little dumpster therapy of her own.
It breaks my heart to think this friendly animal got tossed like garbage, alone and hungry and could have come to a bad end had not her owners found her.
Mary Bale said "It's just a cat, I thought it would be a joke.. I thought the cat would get out."
Oh really Mary, the cat weighs 4 lbs.. and has no thumbs!! How is Lola to open the wheelie bin top at a height of 4 feet over her head?
Good grief... some folks are a waste of skin.
Mary.. I hope you learn your lesson well now that you've lost your self respect, honor and possibly your job.
For those who would like to see Mary in all her shame here is the clip:
