  • You have a very interesting array of art work in the exhibit, Shawna. I like all your different styles and I think your layered photos are my favorite.

  • Thanks jbillswms. It's always great to talk with you, and yes I think the layered pieces are my favorites too. I think people were really surprised to find Bedford County has so many talented citizens. Dina's equestrian paintings are truly amazing, as are Carol's animal portraits and Susan's pottery, Julie's jewelry, Gina's metal sculpts...there are just too many great pieces/artists to list. Hope people reading this will take the time to check it out...I they'll be pleasantly surprised.

We have homemade soaps, hand-cut cards, art dolls, felt hats, silver-clay jewelry, Indian bead jewelry, blown-glass jewelry, Steam Punk jewelry, wood-carved jewelry, mixed-media art, wire sculpts, metal sculpts, Blessings pottery, unique photography, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, watercolor paintings, pencil drawings, natural earth sculpts, polymer clay sculpts, driftwood art, mosaic art, sticker art, photo books, art books, journals and so much more. There are small, simple pieces and large, elaborate pieces and all sizes/types in between....who knew, right here in our own home town!
