Come Check out Craig Damron's Unique Style Art at the Bedford Art Gallery

Posted Monday, November 14, 2011, at 5:01 PM

Craig Damron, a native of Bedford County since moving here from Michigan at the tender age of four, started drawing pictures in pencil when he was just eight years old...and has never stopped. With the love and support of his wife Regina, who is busy making beautiful gift baskets and wreaths this time of year, Craig has been able to broaden his artistic scope and try his hand at air brushing, water colors and oil paintings.

A self-taught artist, Craig has been contracted for some pretty impressive projects, including local restaurant murals and business signs. He credits his experience as a handy man for the ease at which he is able to complete a "larger-than-life" building mural.

Craig's work will be on display all month long at the Bedford Art gallery/gift shop at the Fly, and he will be hosting a reception this evening (November 14th) from 7:00-8:00pm for those of you who would like a chance to meet and greet the artist in person.

The Bedford Art Gallery is open throughout the month from 11:00-4:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, during all special events at the Fly and on weekends and evenings by appointment. I hope to see you there, and don't forget to check out the beautiful trees on display for the Festival of trees this weekend, which will stay up through Christmas.
