Movie Critic anyone?

I am thinking about going to see Hancock, but first I wanted to know if anyone has seen it? Is it any good?
Let's talk rentals....I was told that Step Up 2 is good, I will have to have a second opinion on that. I rented The Ruins and College Road Trip to watch this weekend, and will tell you all what I think of them both on Monday. I really didnt enjoy Hancock but a woman may enjoy it a little more for the love story and the strong moral story of the movie. I was expecting more of an action film with him battling a strong villian and that never really happened. Plus, it had an usual twist in the story.
I enjoyed Step Up 2 for the dance scenes but the acting was a bit bland and not as good as the first. I have also seen the Ruins . . . very disturbing movie with a strange plot. It's a bit gory at times and graphic . . . I just couldnt get past what was portrayed as the evil in the movie. LOL!
I used to read the Hancock comics and I have to say it was pretty darn close. I liked it.
I will have to watch The Ruins with Mark (my bf). It sounds scary, I defiantly do not want to watch it alone!
Hancock was GREAT.... But not as good as "Wanted" with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman... Now THAT was a thriller to see.
There is a twist about 2/3 through Hancock that will surely surprise you, though if you pay really close attention at first you may see it coming. But I'll say, it was worth the $$$ for sure.
College Road Trip was great, even if you do not have kids! At first, I was thinking, this is not going to be good, but it was cute.
The Ruins, not as scary as I thought. It could have been scarier, but it did keep me interested.
Wanted was awesome . . . I love the director Timur Bekmambetov and the past two movies (Night Watch and Day Watch) were great too but really different from Wanted.
Is Wanted in the video store to rent or a new movie? I have not heard of it.
If you want to see a wonderful movie you need to see The Dark Knight.

I REALLY REALLY want to see that movie. My Dad took me to see all the Batman movies when I was young..what great memories.
I watched 21, and I actually fell asleep during it, i am glad I did not spend the money to see it in the movie theater. Maybe the good part was at the end, when I fell asleep.
How about a bit of a twist on the movie critic idea? I propose a question. If you were going to remake the movie "Wizard of OZ", what modern day actors/actresses would you pick to play the now famous characters from this classic? Here are my choices.
Dorothy - Scarlett Johansen
Tin Man - Tom Hanks
Scarecrow - Jim Carey
Cowardly Lion - Johnny Depp
Wizard - Patrick Stewart
Wicked Witch - Glenn Close
Good Witch - Sarah Jessica Parker
