Celebration time!

  • I know a lot of people don't like the celebration because of all the traffic. It reminds me of a fair up and down Madison Street with vendors selling t-shirts and BBQ and all kinds of goodies.

    Inside the grounds even if you don't like to go watch the horses there's a lot of fun there too and the Food OMG is amazing. Country Ham Sandwiches and homemade donuts. yeah I look forward to it...

    But I was thinking today for the past several years Bi-Lo has put a tent in the parking lot and cooked the most greatest stuff out there

    (Rib eye steaks, tenderloin, chicken) I guess considering they are no longer in business it won't be there this year (I for one will miss them)

  • I have lived here quite a few years, and I do not like the increase in the traffic, it does bring a carnival fun time for the city.

    I have only gone to the horse show once when a friend gave us tickets.. it is just too expensive to go.

    Did you see how many people polled will not go to the show?
