  • I love buying gifts for others and making little treats, etc.; even if I never received another gift, I would still love the season.

Christmas lights are my favorite thing about Christmas. I spend countless hours and gallons of gas driving around looking at what everyone has done. The park and the horse show grounds are always the first ones to visit each year. This has been a long tradition in my family and I am trying to keep it up with my kids(even if the get bored with it easily now). Hopefully, they will come to love them as much as I do.

I feel sort of empty now that all of my Christmas decorations are packed away until next Nov when I get to start putting the lights up on the house again. My husband thinks I'm nuts to put up so many and jokes that Duck River are doing a happy dance every year when I turn them on for the first time. It is a lot of work to go through each year but my house looks so lonely and dull now.
