  • Betty -

I buy mine from a lot of places, I like the Hancock's in M'boro - they have a customer card that gets you discounts. I also buy from some places online (superbuzzy and reprodepot) and there's a really cool (and cheap) places in Fayetteville - Sir Fabics, if you go there it's cash only, I didn't know when I went.

  • Hobbly Lobby in Murf. has some fabrics. Have you been to Sir's Fabric in Fayetteville yet? I have not been in awhile, but they have lot's of fabric.

  • Yes, I have been to Sir's, even when we still lived in Nashville and bought drapery fabric there. I do remember seeing some fabric at Hobby Lobby, but don't remember much about it. I'll have to check the places online. Thanks.

  • I have to admit, when I first saw the headline on the front page, I thought you were writing something about ... um ... waste water disposal.

  • But if you're going to make a drive, I say drive to Fayetteville to Sirs. You can also check out their Wal-Mart because it still carries fabric.

  • Betty,

Textile Fabric Store, Franklin Pike, Nashville, is a great, old feeling, modern fabric shop. Everything from the ridiculous to the sublime. Fine silks, woolens, cottons, etc. plus many fun new things. If you are a serious seamstress, this is the nearest fabric store for quality garment materials in the entire area.

  • I actually went out to Sir's this morning - it was a madhouse! I'm planning to go back in a few weeks with a friend, so we'll be spending more time - this time I just went for some linen. Since you mention their Walmart still has fabric, could you let me know whereabouts it is? The only thing I know about Fayetteville is how to get to Sirs.
