First, let me say that I hope this subject is not offensive to the readers.
Jim and I travel a great deal. We may drive to East Tennessee, visit my sister in Mississippi or our son in Florida, fly across the country, wherever. We also eat out way too much. While traveling, eating in restaurants, visiting doctors' offices, even attending basketball games, we use public restrooms.
Remember the service stations many years ago? How many times were they out of toilet tissue? I'm sure there are ladies out there who still carry extra tissues with them - just in case.
That's why I'm thankful for the big rolls of tissue they now use in most public restrooms. Usually the wall container holds 2 of those large rolls. With all the traveling we have done in recent months, I found only one restroom had an inadequate supply of tissue. That was at a high school in a neighboring town. (Yes, we beat the home teams.)
So, along with Post-it notes and Liquid Paper, the large roll of toilet tissue has become a valuable addition to the well being of our people.
