Yet another McGee updatePosted Friday, February 1, 2008, at 2:33 PM
Another month has passed and Edward McGee's sentence has been reduced by another 15 days.
McGee, charged with the murders of Phyllis Seibers and Deborah Ray in December, 1966, went to trial only for the Seibers murder and received a 99-year sentence in October, 1967. With the so-called good time and other factors involved, he will now have that sentence served on April 13, 2009. As long as the 15 days come off his sentence each month, and I see no indication that will stop, McGee will go free late this year. |
