Just a thought. With all of our modern medicines and more being developed each day, has mankind ever been served better, pound for pound, by anything better than hot or cold water and aspirin?

Hot chicken noodle soup, Sprite, or 7 up, Father Johns medicine, Wrapped up in warm blanket, and lots of sleep.
The only thing I can think of to compare is penicillin or antibiotics in general, and of course chicken soup!
