New Surgery Date
Posted Monday, May 5, 2008, at 6:10 PM<< Previous | Read comments | Respond | Email link | Next >>
I was informed late this morning my cardiac surgtery has been moved back one week to Thursday, May 15.
While I don't like the delay after getting mentally ready for surgery this Thursday there is one part I like. The surgery on May 15 will be the first of the day at 7 a.m. while a 12:30 p.m. start time had been set for this Thursday. Sorry to bother all of you again. Thanks to all of you. No bother Bo, still praying everything goes good.
You're not bothering anyone, thanks for the update!
Thanks for the update Bo. We are continuing to pray for you.
We all wish you the very best. You will definitely be in many prayers.
I thank and appreciate all of you more than words can express. My surgery date was changed again today. They moved me up one day to Wednesday, May 14, at 7 a.m. while at Vanderbilt most of today for pre-surgery exams.
Don't say or think it is a bother..I was just siting at my home last nite and thinking about how you were doing..you are right 7am is alot better than 12:30..When I had my 1st surgery for Breast Cancer in 2000 it was not until 3pm and by the time they came in there to get me I was a RECK and I did not want to go..I had sat there worring until I was not ready to have it done by then..plus i wanted something to eat and drink since i had not had anything since midnite...Going 1st thing is the best way to go...You are in my thoughts and prayers and your family also...Keep us up-dated...
It is not bother. I know that we are all glad to hear the update. First surgeries in the morning are the best time---I worked at St. Thomas for many years and early am are the prime spot.
Bo,
Thanks for your call. Our prayers are with you, and I know for a fact that God answers prayers.
Please let us know when you're on the mend.
