Thank You!Posted Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 4:27 PM
I wish to offer a very sincere thank you to all of you for your prayers and kind, thoughtful messages while I've awaited surgery.
My wonderful wife and I are going to Nashville tonight so we will have a very short trip to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the morning (Wednesday). Surgery is scheduled for 7 a.m. and Dr. Michael Patracek estimated it would take seven to eight hours. I'm ready and each of you has played a big part in getting me there. Good fortune Bo. I have been through four of them. Just wish they kept it warmer in there, but those blankets sure feel good.
Good Luck Bo. We will be thinking about you.
Let us know how you are getting along.
Bo,
Michael and Connie Patracek are both top drawer. You are lucky to have a wonderful surgeon.
Hope all has gone well and you are on the fast track to recovery.
Good Luck Bo! And get plenty of rest.
God Bless You.
Our Heavenly Father, we ask you to be with our brother in Christ, Bo Melson today during his surgery. We ask you to lay your hands on him and his surgeon that everything goes well, and is good. All these Blessing we ask in your name, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
God is with you and your family..I will be waiting to see your next blog...You are in everyone's prayers that know you....Wishing you a fast recovery....
LUCK BO.
As I sit here worring about if our loan will go thru for our home and worring about were to start packing and what to keep and what to toss my thoughts go to what time it is and I count the hours from 7am and I think to myself how you are doing and if you are about to come out of surgery. Then I think to myself that my worries are so small to what you are going thru and your family...I am thinking of you and praying that your family is okay and that you will be back in your room soon and smiling at your family....
God's big enough to help the Melsons and your family, too, rebelrose.
He's got enough love for all of us.
Let us agree with one another to ask for Bo to be blessed (and not just so we can be blessed with him) and trust that whatever happens with any of us will be orchestrated for our benefit.
God will give us no more and no less than what we can handle and use for our benefit and His glory.
We just have to remember that -and that He doesn't have a higher opinion of what we can deal with than we deserve.
God won't take anything from us without giving us another blessing we wouldn't enjoy otherwise.
The surgery has taken place. His doctors seemed pleased with the results. So far, no complications have occurred.
Thanks for the updates David. Have a great recovery Bo.
That's wonderful news,David.
Thank you.
(Thank you,too,Lord.)
We're looking forward to you being home and rarin' to go soon,Bo.
Take it easy and enjoy the rest while you can. ;)
That's Great News I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out.
