Right contestants, wrong show

Posted Sunday, September 28, 2008, at 4:13 PM

I've never been an expert on presidential debates, but Friday night I watched Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? with Jeff Foxworthy.

When that show was over the McCain-Obama debate came on.

After an hour of the debate I remarked to my wife, "I think we could have learned more about our presidential candidates if they had appeared on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?"

I think you would find that neither candidate would be "smarter than a fifth grader"
