Walker or Whoover?

Posted Friday, November 14, 2008, at 2:36 PM

I saw an interesting play on the name of President George Walker Bush earlier today.

It asked a question. Does the W. really stand for Walker or could it really stand for Whoover?

Too far or about right?

If Mr Obama(I do not call him president because I feel I do not and will not have a president for the next 4years)really wants to do something for the tax payers maybe he should not have a hug party for himself after the nauguration at the tax payers expense.

With all of the talk how do you feel about his mother in law moving into the White House.Myself,I do not want my tax dollars to pay for her up keep.

I think the next president is going to do some pretty shocking things. And when we look back at what Bush has done it will pale in comparison. But time will tell.

I hope you are wrong, but I really believe you are right. I hate to think how bad it will get if he can accomplish just half what he wants to.

Amen cherokee2 I know the time is coming when I won't get be able to listen to 91.7 a christian station without hearing a program on devil worshipping. Talk radio will have to give equal time to far left liberal talk shows. Same with TV shows.

For all of Obama's CHANGE he talked about, he has put 32 of Clinton 47 staff members in his own staff.

I just heard today that Obama's back ground check for people that will work for him is 7 pages long, and he can't even pass it. I guess to many terrist buddies.

Those who forget the lessons of the past are doomed to repeat them, and to O's credit, he has told us what he intends to do but we have chosen to only hear the parts we like. When the fairness doctrine is re-instituted, the only things you will be able to post on here Nathan is the current policy of our government or grandmas favorite recipe, but then you probably think that is perfectly acceptable. I lived thru parts of this and I see the parallels, and I refuse to go quietly into the night, because I am a bible thumping, gun owning bitter elderly man who loves his country and am so sad to see it rapidly disappearing. And if this attitude makes me irrational by your standards, then sir I thank you for the compliment. I have no desire to be a mind-numbed robot with no opinion of my own. I thank God that our leaders have not been able to reach beyond the grave. Soon enough, their power over us ends.

Let's get the next president inaugurated first. You seem to be forgetting that this is the United States and there are plenty of moderate Democrats and Republicans in the House and the Senate that have many tools at their disposal to limit the executive branch and to decide what changes are beneficial and necessary. People like the U.S. Representative from Georgia that said Barack Obama is a lot like Hitler need to quit living their lives gripped by absurd fears and irrational thought processes.
