Friday the 13th

Are you even concerned that today happens to be Friday the 13th?

Are you taking any extra precautions?

Do you have any superstitions, such as black cats, broken mirrors or walking under ladders? Has anything ever happened in your life to make you have such superstitions?

I guess I don't have the black cat superstition, since I own 3 of them and they are all sweet little ones.

I was born on Friday the 13th so I don't see it as an unlucky day.

I got married on Friday The 13th November 13th 1981. I was 17 when I got married, wasnt pregnant, didnt have my daughter til 3 years later...Ive been married for 27 years. I have always been a lucky person. I used to enter alot of contests and I won several of them....I have a scrapbook full of stuff showing that I won many contests over the years. I thought I'd put my marriage to the test and see if it would last if I started it off on that day...lol...and I havent killed him YET. Everything I have done in my life seems to revolve around the number 13....but Im sure its a coincendence.

Cemetaries have given me the creeps since about the age of ten, when my parents took my siblings and I to see "Night of The Living Dead" at the 41-A Drive-In. It's an irrational fear, but I've carried it around for forty years now. It's crazy I know, but I cannot go into a cemetary by myself during the daylight hours, and I won't go in one at night for any reason. I still enjoy watching a good horror movie though!

Friday 13th is my best day; that is because it comes so seldom. It is those Friday 13ths that come on Saturday-Thursday that really get you! (Unless you know Pogo you won't get that.)

I never stepped on the foul line between home and first or home and third when I was pitching baseball. One part supersition and one part wanting that foul line intact in case of slow rollers.

Of course I'm too old and ugly to pitch now.
