How about Paula?

I watch American Idol on tv and I can put up with Simon's gruff comments, condone Randy calling referring to some male contestants as dog or dawg...but than there is Paula Abdul.

Would Paula get up and start dancing if someone sang our national anthem? There is nothing wrong at all with rythym in the right place and time.

Is it unfair to other contestants when she shows such favoritism when some are performing and the viewing public and potential voters are watching and may be swayed by her antics...or is she just a scene-stealer?

I can't decide whether I wish they would put her in a seatbelt or a straitjacket.

I watch a show on E! called "The Soup" which makes fun of clips from various TV shows, and they often poke fun at clips from "Idol." When Paula used the metaphor of "a man shopping in the women's department" for one contestant's song choice last night, I thought to myself, "I can't wait to see what they do with this on 'The Soup.'"

Paula is very biased towards certain contestants( usually males) and its very obvious. In my opinion, all the judges are biased this year and it influences the show. I have no problem with them giving suggestions are light remarks, but don't endorse canidates.

On the other hand, it is a fun show to watch and the ratings are always good. Sometimes talent comes out of this competion.

I don't find Paula's mannerisms nearly as annoying as Randy's "pitchy" and "dawg" comments. Someone buy the man a thesaurus and introduce him to a vocabulary with more than six words.

She is really strange anyway, I like the new woman judge better. I like Simon the best of all the judges.

Deadliest Catch(Disc.), Man vs. Wild (Disc.), Ax Men (Hist.), Black Gold (TruTV); these are what DUDES like us, (me and you) turn off the sports channels for. Why are you asking me about American Idol? Who in that staff put you up to this...WHO IN T-G PUT HIM UP TO THIS?!?!? LOL.

i have never seen Idol nor will i watch it.. to me it would just be boooooooring. Like, who cares..
