Traffic SignalsPosted Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 3:04 PM
Which traffic signals in Shelbyville do you find the most confusing? Why?
Let's not be too quick to blame the city. Too often some young so-called expert comes down from Nashville who has never driven the streets in question at various times of the day and accomplishes nothing. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I don't understand why all the traffic lights aren't timed. A person driving down Madison or N. Main shouldn't be caught by most lights when driving the speed limit.
East Franklin and North Jefferson has been the most dangerous for me. Lots of drivers on N. Jefferson assume the stop sign is a four way stop and I have had several close calls when they pull out expecting the cars on East Franklin to stop.
the one on coloredo blvd/fairfeild/main street can be frustrating at times..
But it has gotten better, I am glad they fixed the deery/fairfeild light next to Edgemont Baptist. It was a bummer before the turn signal.
