New Year's Resolutions

Did you make any new year's resolutions a year ago?

And, did you keep them for all of 2011?

I'm making one that shouldn't be hard at all for 2012. It is to say something nice to someone each day and hopefully give them a little boost for that day.

I had two things. I wanted to be more diligent about spending time in the Bible -- and, thanks to a daily Bible podcast that I reviewed recently in my tech column, I've done that.

I also wanted to start an interview podcast -- on a specialized topic, nothing that would overlap with my work here at the newspaper -- and I did not get that done, except for producing a sort of pilot episode.

i made one for last year. Get out of a horrid abusive job i was in. And i did! this year.. i am not going to make one.

My resolutions for the new year are to spend more time with loved ones and start writing chapter one of a book.
