Getting Your Vote

Posted Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 2:30 PM

What is the one biggest thing you want to hear answered by the candidates before you vote for our next president?

And, I must add, will you believe that answer when you hear or see it?

Will they follow the constitution?

I would believe a yes answer only by Ron Paul.

Quietmike...I think you're right about this one!

The writers of the Constitution have to be turning over in their graves at the interpretations being used in today's politics.

I always thought "We, the people", meant just that. Now it appears to mean "we, the politicians" will do whatever we want. I have 6 great-grandchildren; hard for me to fathom what they will face in their adulthood.

Will you truthfully represent us the citizens or continue the current trend in congress to kiss up to big money? As long as they put the big money first "We the People" will nothing more than pawns, expendable unless we can put money in their accounts.

I agree with all of the comments here. But I would also like to add that I want to know if the next president will focus more on repairing the US instead of repairing other countries? We have sent so much money to other countries to feed their nations and be their police. We need to focus on our own country for a while.

Did he ever own more than one coon dog at a time? Can he spell Waxahachie? Has he ever lived north of the Mason/Dixon line? Did he ever steal a moon pie from a classmate? Was he rejected for admission to Havard, Yale and Princeton because his IQ was too high? Has he ever been arrested for impersonating a gentleman, or a lady?

When you start believing the government, . . .start questioning your beliefs.
