An Annual ProblemPosted Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 2:35 PM
Some intersections in the city are dangerous because of trees and shrubs in yards bordering the streets of the intersection.
One such intersection is located near Eakin School. In this case I never pass through it without thinking a life is worth more than that tree. Why doesn't the owner or the city cut it down? Have you noticed any dangerous intersections of this nature this spring? Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |

Coming off Lee Lane at Mead Drive is an accident waiting to happen.
its not only trees and shrubs causing problems. buisiness signs also are cluttering things up as well. i dont know the name of the road... but its the one that runs behind dollar general market and the old harris middle school that connects to coloredo blvd.. there is a buisness there i think is a doctor or dentist office that has a sign setting close to the road that you cant see past. it dont matter if you are trying to go across coloredo or turn right onto colredo you just cant see and it is very danderous. but i see signs all over the place that cause problems too.
the city has codes for signage that disrupts drivers views and probably have some other codes against things that block the veiw of traffic...butt... they cannot do anything about it unless somebody complains.
