Talk To CongressPosted Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 3:34 PM
If you could take the floor, address Congress and confront all members on their lack of action on practically everything, what would you say to them?
I would say stop playing games with America's future. Forget whether you are Democrats, Republicans or whatever and start being responsible Americans. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I would inquire as to where all the true statesmen went...there aren't any there anymore. They're all too busy being "politicians."
I would probably ask them if they forgot that we, the people, hired them to do what is best for our nation, not the special interest groups or their party.
Then I would ask each one to stand up and state if they understood that and were adhering to that. Just two answers, yes or no. No spin, no extra talk.
Talk about watching people squirm. No, come to think of it, they can lie with them best of them.
I would ask them when they are going to get back to our little country and create jobs through infrastructure and transportation ease and simple quality of life like dealing with crime and guns so no one has to live in fear...and education to the point that if you don't have a job with a boss then creating self sufficient ways to earn like hobbies or second skilled trades when the job markets are slim...We are teaching our kids to sit and be lazy and if they have a want or need instead of just talking about it...get off the couch and deal with it...our government needs to verbalize more national family values instead of investigating which general slept with whomever and wasting millions on such things!
I would plead with them to pass a constitutional ammendment to make the US a Christian nation. And only Christians could vote. I would beg them to include that the words "merry Christmas" be verboten, and the legal term would be: "merry Christday". All Christians should use "merry Christday" to send the ACLU lawyers screaming, scowling, snotsnizzling, sickywicky and running home to sit on their momma's lap, crying and sucking their thumb.
I would tell them to vote for what the majority of america sent them there for.Really think about passing bills to help americans not just the next election. Some of the older congressman need to go.When you start fillibusting your own bills its time to go.Pass bills for the good of americans, dont hold some bills hostage just because they didnt come from your party.Work with each other and the president.
We hear so much of the fiscal cliff America is nearing for reasons all of you have mentioned. Did America fall off a moral cliff and still falling fast?
