![]() Meet Dudley and Beauregard A.K.A.("Winky") Dudley is a 5 year old male chihuahua. He came to us as an owner surrender. Dudley is a fantastic little dog with a SUPER personality. He is very friendly and loving and loves to be held. Dudley is neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Dudley came to the shelter with Beauregard and is protective of him. They are like two peas in a pod and are always together. Beauregard is a 2 year old male chihuahua. He was an owner surrender, along with Dudley. Beuregard is a VERY sweet dog and has a fabulous personality. He loves people, and he loves to play. Beauregard is missing his right eye, because of a congenital eye defect. It was removed, when he was a very young puppy. Beauregard is neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Beauregard and Dudley came to the shelter together. Beauregard has never lived without Dudley, and they are both very close. Because of this, we would like to adopt them out together. If you would like to add Beauregard and Dudley to your family, please contact the Shelbyville-Bedford County Humane Association for an adoption application at (931) 684-KIND or e-mail SBCHA@hotmail.com Adoption fees vary but usually start around $50. Since our shelter is operated ENTIRELY by volunteers, we are open by appointment only. Once we receive your application, one can be set up for you. would like to know what other kind of pets you have at this time.
My parent's dogs (Max and Murphy) where adopted together from the SBCHA because they were buddies like this pair. Max and Murphy are so cute running around the farm together. I hope Dudley and Beauregard are adopted so they can be a source of many great memories for their new owner.

At the end of January, I was forced to bring in my 6 puppies (they were black, brown and white) and two cats-one with 5 kittens that were premature. If you do happen to remember (it's okay if you don't, because God only knows how many animals come and go from the shelter) I would like to know the status of the puppies. I called in a few weeks after leaving them, and was told the puppies all were adopted, but the cats were put down.
Thanks!
