Oh my goodness! He is so beautiful! I wish my three year old wasn't allergic.
Check into treatments and strategies for your child.
That would help with exposure to allergens out in the world and not just to pets at home.
They say now that a proper introduction to plants,animals,etc. can reduce the number and severity of allergic reactions.

His allergy to cats is very severe. When he is in the same room as one, his eye's swell up, and start watering, and he suddenly can't breathe. His skin breaks out too, into little bumps all over.
When we rescued a cat about a year ago, the cat was in the house maybe 10 minutes before my son started having a reaction.
It was instant.
I have heard about subjecting your kids to stuff like that to prevent them from being allergic or not as allergic, but I think I will continue to keep him away.
