This little guy is an adorable, 4 month old Corgi/Min Pin mix. He was an owner surrender today due to being too much puppy for her timid 6 y/o daughter. He has been fully vetted and well taken care of by the previous owner. The only thing needed is neutering at 6 months. We are trying to adopt this little guy out ASAP!!

Our adoption process is very easy!! The fee for adopting an animal is $65 that includes a $50 refund after the animal is spayed or neutered. Our facility contains an Adoption Room that will allow you and your family to spend quality time to ensure the right pet for you! All animals must leave with a current Rabies Vaccination. The current cost for this is $13.

Come Visit Us!

The shelter is now staffed during the day for viewing of animals and for dropping off animals. Give us a call to schedule a time to come in.

jdw931, glad to know he's housebroken, was he kenneled during the day or broken on the pads?

awwwww.... :( He looks so sweet.

jdw931,

Tell your friend that I am sorry they had to surrender him. I know how it feels, as I had to give away our pedigree Boxer after spending 8 months with him. We spent over $1000.00 on Jackson, but he was way too much dog for our family. We ended up giving him away for free to what seemed like a very special home!

It's hard when you get attached to a dog, but know in your heart that it is not the right dog for you or your family.

I hope this puppy finds a great home soon!

jdw931, I have an indoor cat and two outdoor dogs. This one would stay inside but we're gone all day so I'd hate to confine him to the laundry room, maybe he'd use the pads fine with the whole house to roam? Oh and the cat LOVES puppies especially b/c they will play with him, big dogs just look at him weird when he swats their tails! lol

Well well, I had to work today.. But fortunately my family ventured into town today and they picked out a puppy. His name is Tippy, he is featured in Friday's edition of the TG paper, on page 8A.

We love him so far. He is a very quiet dog, but very friendly. He has a loving home now. Thanks so much Cheryl and the rest of you for your countless hours of volunteer work to ensure these lovely animals great homes.

Lastly, we are going sometime this week to get another one! YAY!

Cheryl.. I have a question. He is a pup, but I have yet to hear him bark. Was he the same when he was at the Humane Association, or is that typical when they are trying to get acquainted?

It doesn't bother me, b/c I can sleep peacefully, but just curious!

Thanks

darrick_04~ I'm not sure. I'll check with Kitty and Diane about his habits. I never got to meet him in person. Some dogs are just quiet dogs. From one who is trying to raise 3 young pups at one time....be greatful.

By the way next time you are at the library, come up to the 3rd floor and visit. I'd love to meet you!

Darrick -

This may or may not help, but the dog that my husband and I adopted from Animal Control this past October rarely barks. She's not a puppy, but we had her well over 2 weeks before she barked.
